MCCG is a community based organisation which undertakes environmental restoration work on the mid-north coast of NSW Australia. MCCG operates in the Greater Taree City Council (GTCC) area and works closely with GTCC staff, the public, and both state and federal government agencies.

MCCG won the prestigious Australian Government COASTCARE Award at the 2006 National Landcare Awards held at the International Landcare Conference in Melbourne, after winning the NSW Division in 2005.

MCCG's activities and projects include:

• Volunteer Worker Program
• Weed Reduction Program
• Community Nursery

MCCG receives in-kind and financial support from volunteers, Greater Taree City Council, the Hunter-Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority, and the Federal Government Natural Heritage Trust's Envirofund.
